The Leading Men Summit

The Leading Men Summit (formerly the Minnesota Men's Ministry Leadership Summit) is your annual opportunity to connect with other church leaders who have a passion for developing and strengthening the men within their churches.

If you're leading or are part of the men's ministries leadership in your church, the Leading Men Summit will provide you with great ideas for inspiring growth and action among the men you serve. Bring your entire leadership team to fuel-up on ideas and to learn from other leaders from around the region.  

Why you should be there on November 11.

If you have a calling to mobilize the men in your church toward intentional spiritual growth and outreach, the Leading Men Summit is for you.  Pastors and lay leaders of men's ministries gather each November to explore how to strengthen the men in their churches and strengthen their churches in the process. This year's Summit will be held on Thursday, November 11th on the campus of Bethel University (website) from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Never before has there been a more critical time to invest in the lives of men. A troubling economy, eroding cultural standards for truth and worldly models of manhood conspire to leave many men vacant and disengaged with God. Yet, the church is uniquely poised for such a time as this.

Grow Your Men, Grow Your Church is a strategic action plan for re-engaging the men of your church presented by Vince D'Acchioli, Founder of On Target Ministries. Over 1,000 pastors, men’s ministry directors and church leaders have directly benefited from the strategies presented in Grow Your Men, Grow Your Church.

At this year's Summit, you will interact with Vince and other leaders on these critical questions:

• Why....? Much of the challenge related to growing men has stemmed from a failure to understand the context for ministry to men within the local church. In this area we will explore both the biblical mandate and underlying reasons why God has called out men for a specific purpose.


• What ....? If I am successful in ministering to my men—what does it look like? Can I define what a fully devoted follower (disciple) of Jesus looks like? Here we define our objective—what are we attempting to build?


• How do I...? Successful models for effective ministry to men are hard to find. When we do find them it is often a challenge to effectively share them with churches who need them. In this area we will look at some powerful “best practices” and examine a sample strategic plan offering practical “how to’s” for ministry to men in the local church.

In the past decade, Vince has touched the lives of thousands of people across the United States and Canada. Prior to founding On Target Ministries, he served as the Executive Vice President of Every Home for Christ, a worldwide missions ministry with offices in more than 100 countries. During the years leading up to full-time ministry, Vince functioned as the vice president of a Fortune 500 company involved in retailing, manufacturing, and wholesaling distribution. He was an elder and member of the church board at The Church On The Way in Van Nuys, California, pastored by Jack Hayford where he, along with his wife, Cindy, directed the ministry to married couples.

Vince has authored a number of articles for both secular and Christian publications, and recently released his first book, Wired To Work. He is currently working on his next book, "Time Out" The Six Structural Elements of an Effective Church. Vince and his wife, Cindy, married more than 42 years, have two daughters and five grandchildren. They make their home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
